The first thing you should check is the under-body at the mid section where the cab meets the truck body. Tacomas regularly rot out there causing the vehicle to break in two while driving...this has been documented on the web. Before the vehicle breaks in two, the vehicle shimmies and shakes as though it is out of alignment, then, without warning, the truck simply breaks apart in two pieces while driving. This is due to the poor metal and low quality materials used during the Toyota manufacturing process. Good luck. With a Tacoma..you will need it.
