Default Is there a known typical reason why my 1992 toyota 4runner sr5(auto) has suddenly failed to turn...
...over/start ? Tried replacing battery, Just get the 'clicking ' sound you hear when battery is weak.















F.Y.I.: No previous similarities...Almost as if I had left trans. in gear upon turning ignition.

clicking is the starter and if you replaced the battery then you need to replace the starter but that is if your truck wasn't knocking when you last drove it. if so put a sock-it on the crank pulley and turn it over by hand make sure it still will. if not take it to a shop and tell them everything.
