Don't bother trying to do stuff to an automatic unless you can afford to do an auto to manual conversion. If I were you, that would be the first mod I'd do.
Any significant mod such as forced induction (turbo or supercharger) will shred the slushbox.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with trying to mod it at all. The performance chip you got is most likely a 5-cent resistor in a box. Mind you, this is from my perspective, one who owns a heavily modified 20B-REW powered FC model RX-7. Started out as a non-turbo automatic and I've done all the work myself, including designing and building my own engine mounts. Still gotta fabricate a custom downpipe and other little things though.
All in all, I think you'd be better off with something rear wheel drive such as a MA60 or MA70 Supra. Auto to manual conversions are easier to do on them since everything's not crammed under the hood so tightly. Generally got a better enthusiast/support base too.
