Default 1988 toyota truck fuel filter?
i have a 88 toyota pickup 4 cyl 22 r fuel injection 4wheel drive i have been trying to find out where the fuel filter is i followed the gas lines but no inline filter and suggestions?

Those used to have a substantial steel canister filter located in the engine compartment and bolted to the cowling. You should be able to trace the hose from the fuel rail right over to it - unless someone just removed it. That is a high pressure line so have to use original filter and fittings - or it might blow apart.

you have three. sock filter in the tank and one just off the tank externally. another after the fuel pressure regulator and b4 the injectors in the bay (pg 264 in the manual-follow the link).
