About car keys, of a Toyota corolla. ?

Default About car keys, of a Toyota corolla. ?
Okay so. I bought my car used. N it only came with one key. And I saw in the owners manual that it's comes with 3. A master key, a second key (the only one I have), and a truck key. So what I'm asking is. How much would it be to get new keys at the dealership a Toyota one. Because I bought mine in an independent dealership. Also. I accidentally locked my truck. Which one the truck key and master key can open.

Toyota has been making Corollas for over 40 years. Key technology has changed a lot over that time frame. My kids 2000 has keys that can be made at Lowes for $2.50. Not sure what the heck you mean by a truck key. I presume that you mean the valet key, which will not open the trunk or glove box.

Hi,
I assume that you just purchased the car only a few days ago, re: canceling the check. I would go ahead and do this asap, and demand the dealer supply you with the second key. For a 2006 Toyota, they should have definitely given you two sets of keys. Most likely they lost one set or only received one set. Demand they supply you with a second key, preferably two additional since you lost the first. Dont release the check until they do this. They will.
