i like 3" on these. look good and capable for an ifs system. you could easily put 33" tires on these with 3" lift.
one thing i will suggest is the you use shackle lifts for the rear. not a lift block. lift blocks are fine, but over time, if axle wrap isn't addressed in the rear, the ring and pinion will wear prematurely over time. it also works the springs. having the axle closer to the leaf will minimize the impact. it took four years, but the blocks finally took their toll. i've replaced the flat springs and am looking at a whole new pumpkin for the rear diff.
if all you do is cruise the street, don't get to aggressive of a tread. you will feel every cleat.
no brake upgrades are needed. might look at wheel flares to protect your paint and sheet metal. i did mud flaps as well to protect others from flying rocks and my insurance premiums.
at 33" R the speedo will read 50, but you will be doing 55.
when you're done go get a four wheel alignment.
