99 tacoma wont start sounded like someone dropped something in the engine -ran really rough...

Default 99 tacoma wont start sounded like someone dropped something in the engine -ran really rough...
...and then quit? it will turn over -sounds like it wants to start-but wont-checked the timing belt -is still on but has oil on it -dont know what it is -loosing work -help-it has 340,000 miles on it.

You said the belt is there but is it i timing?















With oil on the belt it may have stretched and jumped a tooth.















Good news is that it is not a interference motor so no damage will occur if this happened.
