Sliding door issues with Toyota Sienna '05 LE?

Have a 2005 Toyota Sienna LE. Have had it for over a year and had no issues with it except for the power sliding doors. One of them tries to open and gives up after a second. I had this fixed at a local mechanic and he was able to get it working for $60. Two months later same thing. Now, the other door is jammed frozen because we have had -20c temperatures in Toronto. Both doors do not work! Any one else had experiences with this issue? If so, what did you do?

Your 2005 model has duel defective sliding doors from the beginning, costing $1800 a piece to fix. The rear door hatch is also defective and its only a matter of time before it breaks, if it hasn't already.Your 2005 also has been recalled for the front dirver side door..simply falling off while driving because of defective door welds. Don't believe me? Uncontrolled over acceleration issues also all the way back then.. Toyota is indeed the most defective car company in the world...and has been for well over 10 years. The only ones who didn't know it...was the public. Good luck. Dump that 05 Sienns....for you will even see reports of engine sludge destruction...in every instance of door failure and sludge, the drivers and owners are always at fault if you listen to Toyota.
