insert key in ignition (disregard this step if you have the smart key)















turn vehicle to 'ON'















press the odometer switch until you get to the 'TRIP A' mode















press and hold the odometer switch















turn vehicle off then switch vehicle back on, odometer screen will count down a series of dashes.































when the series of dashes counts all the way down the maint light has been reset.































release odometer switch.































all of this information is in the owners manual.
