just hit the unlock button on your remote twice to unarm it, but why would you want to use a key to unlock it to begin with when you have a remote?
and nope, there is no way to disable the honk. It's just an indicator that the car is locked/unlocked. Since it's an old 2004 model, you just have to live with it..
On the new cars that come with smart key entry, those cars do an electronic "beep beep" when you unlock and "beep" when you lock, which is much quieter and less disturbing. The horn only sounds when alarm is going off on those cars.
