As of January 28, 2010, Toyota had announced recalls of approximately 5.2 million vehicles for the pedal entrapment/floor mat problem, and an additional 2.3 million vehicles for the accelerator pedal problem.

In the UK? Toyota GB will be writing to all affected owners, otherwise any Toyota dealer will have the details.































For what it's worth, it affects Toyota Avensis 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre petrol engine models, produced between July 2000 and September 2008, and Lexus IS 250 petrol engine vehicles, produced between August 2007 and February 2009.

If you mean the recall announced in the UK this week (http://uk.autoblog.com/2011/01/26/to...system-repair/ ) then you do not need to call any number as yet. Toyota will write to you, and put you in contact with your local dealer.































If you have any other issue, either contact your local dealer or the Toyota customer care line in your country, listed on the "Contact Us" page of their website for your country (e.g. in the UK 0844 701 6202, as listed on http://www.toyota.co.uk/cgi-bin/toyo...a&id=contactUs ).

Don't worry. If YOUR car is one of the recalled models, they will be contacting YOU (if they haven't already)

why because that moron lahood is responsible for all hype recalls. He's only trying to bash honda toyota so american cars can improve.































he's fooling the american people when clearly there's no problem with toyota and lexus....nobody is able to find the problem meaning there's no problem.
