Where is the neutral safety switch located on a 2007 Toyota Camry?

Default Where is the neutral safety switch located on a 2007 Toyota Camry?
Is this a do it your self kinda job or do you need to take it in to have replaced?

Neutral Safety Switch? There is no such thing as a neutral safety switch in a Camry or Toyota. If there were, there would be at least 38 more people alive today. Toyotas stance is that when you are driving your cherished Toyota, everything that goes wrong with it is your fault not theirs. Why put safety brake over rides in cars to stop them when they over accelerate, when you can just blame the customer and tell him he doesn't know the difference between the gas and the brake? Deny the defect is Toyotas motto. If your Camry over accelerates and can not be stopped, it is up to YOU to shift into neutral, providing you have the time to do that before you hit a wall, or are plunged into a fiery death like the police officer and his wife and children in California. Buy a Camry...get a Camry I say.

The neutral safty switch which will it to only start in park or neutral is on the transmission.















I don't know what the guy above is smoking but it must be good.















If you follow the cable for the shifter to the trans you will find the switch.















Depending on your skill level to if you can do it by your self.















it is outside of the trans so you do not need to open or remove the trans.

The neutral safety switch prevents the engine from starting unless the transmission is in park or neutral. The switch is wired between the ignition switch and the starter.
