Insurance costs are based mainly on the driver(s) and the location rather than the car. You'll have to figure out what the parameters for the driver and how much insurance you want (deductible, collision, comprehensive, etc.) are and then look up some prices for a driver with those parameters. Note that some companies base the cost on the credit rating of the driver.
FWIW I pay about $500 per year to insure my Prius for both collision and comprehensive in a major metropolitan area. However, I don't live in either Florida or California.
Note that the cost of my 2004 Prius has been 12 cents per mile for dealer maintenance, tires, and fuel combined over the 115,000 miles I've driven it so far.
