how much do a full set of tires cost for a toyota prius?

Default how much do a full set of tires cost for a toyota prius?
its 2002 model.















pep boys is charging 135 for just one tire including installation fees and taxes















it was 115 for the tire alone. is that a good price?

Depends on what tire you are buying. Look at tire ratings online and buy the right brand and size for your car at a discounter like http://www.tirerack.com and have them mounted at a local garage, to save the most money.































You can also get pretty good tire prices on sale at Sears and have them mounted there in their auto shop.

Check different stores' inventory online, if you can, for the exact tire that you see on tirerack. Has to be the same model number. If they have it in stock, go in, don't call, go in and ask if they price match. If they do, then you're set. It might even say on their website whether they do or not. Discount tire does price match for sure. I don't know about Pep Boys.

Shipping: $41.62 --This will vary depending upon where you live, but this is off of the Tirerack.com invoice. I just put a set on mine a couple of weeks ago.































I recommend not getting them mounted a pep boys because they wouldn't know a tire from a doughnut.































I also found that getting them mounted at the Toyota dealer was cheaper then getting them mounted at Discount Tire. BTW, if you have a Discount Tire near you, they will match the Tirerack.com pricing. So will many other real tire dealers.































Regardless of what pressure they are set at by the place you get them mounted at, run them at 51/49 or they will have a very short life. Also be sure you get the exact tire as listed above.

I have a performace cars that require performance tires..and they are only 110 a piece installed..now if u wanna spend $600 on a set of tires for a 10 year old Prius, im sure there are plenty that ould oblige you..
