distributor disturbed,
pull #1 plug. pull distributor cap. put you finger in the plug hole. have someone turn the crank clockwise (key off) till your finger pops out. the crank should be at or just b4 TDC. move it to TDC. that puts it at TDC on *compression* stroke.
the rotor at this time should point to the #1 plug hole on the cap. if not, pull the distributor just enough to index (180 degrees) the rotor to the #1 plug hole. don't turn the distributor housing. install cap and plug.
now you're ready to hit it with your trusty T-lite.
