2003 Toy Taco 2.4 2WD rough idle?

Default 2003 Toy Taco 2.4 2WD rough idle?
My Taco has a rough idle with a check engine light on. The c/e light told me it is the MAF sensor. Upon learning this it was cleaned and that stopped the stalling while at a stop light but it still inconsistantly idles rough. Do MAFs slowly degrade or do they either work or fail? And could there be a different problem that the electronics system can't catch?

The both slowly degrade and sometimes just fail suddenly. Have a mechanic check it.































P.S. the abbreviation for Tacoma is "Coma" not taco. It has put a lot of people into comas after the gas pedal stuck lol.
