It's a toyota so yea. If they did something that made the camry and corolla so reliable, I'm pretty sure they would want to reuse that idea in the yaris. Good starting car imo.

Toyota has recalled nearly 40% of their cars since 1999 and just recently announced a recall of 1.8 million more cars. How does that make them reliable?

Yes.































The toyota "recalls" are basically free maintenance/repair/replacement for owners...nothing more. If you look at the issues they're recalling they aren't even warranted design flaws they're mostly wear and tear issues.

yes very reliable car. you cant go wrong reliability wise in a toyota/lexus

That is correct. The Camry and Corolla are the two least reliable cars in the world. Yaris comes in about 3rd.

The Yaris's previous generation was the Echo. The Echo was one of the worst car made by Toyota with the most recalls and reliability issues mechanically speaking. In fact the Echo was so bad they changed its name to Yaris. A car company often changes there model's name when it becomes unpopular or unreliable something Toyota would never do for the Corolla or the Camry or Honda wouldn't do for the Civic or the Accord. Why? Because when people here Corolla, Camry, Civic or Accord they think reliable but Echo didn't hold that image so its name was changed to Yaris. If I were you I would spend a little more and buy a Corolla just cause the Yaris still doesn't seem strong enough.

Yes it is just as unreliable as the Corolla and Camry so don't buy one.
