2011 Tundra, when tow/haul mode is selected, what actually changes?

Default 2011 Tundra, when tow/haul mode is selected, what actually changes?
there is no obvious difference in shifting etc etc,















the owner's manual does not specify















actually, NO. The trans uses all 6 speeds, just the same as when tow/haul is NOT selected. I tested this on a recent trip to Arizona from Ca.















How about an answer from someone who actually KNOWS the correct answer??????

Tow/Haul changes the shift points in the transmission so that each gear holds longer. It also quickens your throttle response. The advantage is that if you are hauling a trailer you won't have to shift as often and you'll have a little more power. It also downshifts more aggressively when slowing, using the engine to help slow the truck("engine braking").
