Default 1994 toyota truck should i buy it?
I am looking at buying a 1994 toyota pick up 5 speed with 2.4 ltr 22re motor.















133000 original miles. new cat convertor new water pump and radiator. bed liner.















good conditon. 1700 dollars. is this a good deal for this truck















that is everything i know about it for now. i have to go look at it this week.















current owner says routine oil changes and maintenance has been done. i know that these trucks have been super reliable. i had an 88. i think with any used vehicle you are taking a chance i guess.















the middle blue book on it is just under 1900 so i dont know if i am really stealing it or anything. pretty close to what it is worth

What is the mechanical history ( besides what you have written here ) ?? That would be the # 1 deciding factor............................that price is quite low, so I would be aware

excellent price, however, has the clutch been done yet? its in the ball park where it is time to get it done, and the full meal deal was about a grand the last time I did the clutch and master and slave cylinder. check it out, price is good.

We traded in our '92 t-100, great condition, 280K miles, for 2500! lol The dealer wanted us to have a 4runner so bad he offered us that much for it. 22re engines are a little slow, and not very efficient. Be prepared to clean or replace the throttle body and accelerator cables connecting them

have a look before going any further. as a former toyota owner, I've had bad body (and occasionally, frame) problems with more "vintage" toyos.































the deal itself is a bargain, but their may not be much left of body pieces or some of the wiring.

You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carinsurance.yoll.net
