Default Upgrades for my celica?
Its a 2001. 70000, what will a exahust and intake do for me, how much power, plz people who know what they are talking about. I also don't care if ur car is faster or if u think mines is slow I don't want it to race but I do want a lil extra power

The Celica already comes with exhaust headers and a decent exhaust system. You can change out the muffler but if you do that, please get a muffler that is for that car. There's nothing more stupid looking that a big A** muffler wired up to the frame and sticking out the back.































You could add a little horse power by installing a cold air intake. You can find those all over Ebay Motors and other web sites.

If you want a fraction more power go with the catback rather than bolton or axel back (exhaust)















Cold Air Intake with by pass valve































with those to parts maybe adding 5-10hp

get a nissan lol but seriously i had a 00 celica gt auto trans. put a factory drop in k and n filter in it with flowtech exhaust and upgraded plugs went over 150 in it a few times be careful though new exhaust can mess up o2 sensor readings, but mine was not taken care of before i bought it and it had all the commonly reported issues that this model has so be careful with your upgrades as this car is very fragile engine wise

exhaust and intake really wont give you much power. maybe some increased response time. i would say that an intake and exhaust may give you around 15 hp but probably less than that.
