Default Why is my corolla sucking up gas?
Okay I got a 2005 Toyota Corolla. Anyway I filled it full on wednesday, and It lasted 385 miles before I had to fill it again. Yesterday I filled it full again and It only has 417 miles and the tank is almost half gone. I had the heat on it for only 30 minutes at the very most. In the car it says that maintenance is required, but my dad says it's because it needs to have an oil change. Why is it burning gas off so quickly? I drive mostly on the highway.

Unless you haven't changed the oil in a year or so, that shouldn't affect the mileage. Must be time for a tune-up...

wow ,,i love how you ignore the lights then ex[ect your car to run perfect,,,be it a oil change or something else,,,dont ignore this,,,i see this all the time,,,why is my car running like crap?well no i havent had a tune up ever and dont do oil changes,,,ya i use crappy gas and my xhaust is leaking but still,,,,,,why is my car runing like crap,,,,depending on the miles,,you need a tune up,,,get a oil change,,,make sure your brakes arnt seized cause im sure you havent had your brake sliders lubbed in a while,,,then see how your car runs
