Default Did I overpay? i just paid $8700 for a 2003 Corolla with 97K miles on it from a dealer..?
Got it checked by a mechanic & he said I need to replace struts costing $900 in a year. I can still return the car today & get all money back. No warranty offered by dealer. The retail value suggested is $8900 on bluebook. Should I return it?

In my opinion yes, you over payed a lot. You can find another car from the same class from the year 2006 or so and with way less millage for your money.

i got a car from a dealer and it was like 2k under bluebook but the next year when the new design came out it droped hard so there was no way i could get that money back

Dealer price with 92000 miles in excellent condition is $9500. Go to Kelly Blue Book on search engine and follow directions to check out car prices in the future. I would not have paid more then $7000 for a car with that high a mileage, sales people are starving out there, learn to bargain better. The time to get a vehicle from a dealer is the last Saturday of the month just before closing time. That's the last chance a sales person can get their commission on that months check!

2003 with 9700k price value for it is around $7000.

you can get a brand new versa or yaris for $10,000-$12000. Yes take it back, I bought an exellent condition 2003 mercedes c240 for $7500 out the door a couple weeks ago.
