Default My 2006 Prius' car alarm has been going off for no reason, why?
The battery is fine and it's always parked in a spot away from other cars and people. What's going on?

That alarm is triggered either by the sound of breaking glass or by someone attempting to open the hood. The first thing I would do would be to have the dealer adjust the glass break. Otherwise there is a switch that may need replacing.































Also check to see if the small 12V battery needs replacing. If it has never been replaced, it's suspect.
