A junk yard, or find someone else selling a used one. You would have to install it yourself though, as it is not legal for a shop to install a used one for you.































You could also look into a aftermarket high-flow cat. I know your not looking for performance, but they are usually MUCH cheaper than a OEM cat, a shop would just have to weld it into your current pipe.

a junk yard sheeesh where do the lunatics come from. Do not buy a cat that may have more miles on it than your present car. I found years ago, there is usually on muffler shop in a local area, that has decent prices, and is usually busy, this is my first sign the shop knows whats up. You cannot get a better deal from a muffler shop than you can at at a auto parts store. I have tried. Ask friend s and family where is a good muffler shop and go from there.
