Default Highlander hybrid engine?
how does the electric and gas engine work?? do you plug it in and put in gas??

The new toyota Highlander hybrid engine has just been reported to suffer catastrophic stalling failure at 40 mpg, where the engine simply shuts down for no reason. Toyota so far, as usual has refused to do a recall but it is now being looked into for safety purposes of the general population. Likely another defective model. You should wait to buy one, or buy something more reliable. You will hear more of this latest news on the news channels. Here is the link for the latest Toyota defect reports.
