Default what in the charging system in a 91 toyota corolla?
i just bought the car 2 weeks ago an bought a battery an alter an now the light are Diming and the stereo is shutting on an off only in usb mode so i just charge the battery an i wont to know want it could be the problem with the charging system

The major components are the battery & the alternator. Sounds like one of them isn't working, but you'll need to get the car tested to decide which one for sure.

Borrow a battery and see if it helps then you will know , battery or not . Good luck.
