Default Did I get a good deal?
Bought a car from a private owner. Prius 2004 with 68k miles for $8k.















What do you think?















Was just asking if I got a good deal. Quit trolling.

You should have looked at KBB, edmunds, NADA, auto trader, and Craigs list to determine a good price range. It's a little late NOW..........to worry about it.

I would say you got a good deal. But I think there is quite some miles on it. If the car is really clean drives great and nothing needs to replace really good deal!

i would say good deal if it has good batteries in it i got an 06 sentra for 5k but had 85k miles on it (average of what i found for all of them for 05-06 for sale in area had between 65-90k miles on them so mine was up there for its year but still runs good and was along norm for that car in my area) but it was the cleanest and best looking one i found and same could be for you you found the one you liked and went with it, if it has no issues then you did get a good deal if some issues i would say maybe you were jipped just my opinion (not trying to talk down to you or "troll" just sayin my thought)

I would say that it was a good deal. 68K is just about brand new in terms of miles. The traction battery on the 2004 and newer is just about indestructible, so no problem there.































You'll want to drain and fill the transaxle. This isn't in the schedule, but it's a good idea to do so every 40K miles based on analysis of the fluid (assuming the previous owner didn't do it). It's not expensive to do.































If you got the logbook, that would be a big plus.
