Default Buy a scion-tc now? or wait a year or two for the Toyota FT-86?
So, i would like to buy a new car and I was looking at the scion-tc (around 25 000 price range)...































Now, i've seen the Toyota FT-86 models and I've also heard their range is also less than 30 000...































should I buy the new scion now? or wait till the FT-86 comes out?

the scion is a dumb, wrong wheel drive, sub-200hp bunch of nonsense while the ft-86 is speculated to be 200-250hp RWD boxer engine. Tough to say though, it would really suck if you waited for the FT86 but it never made it to production.

Wait until the FT-86 comes out, which will be by December hopefully.

For sure worth the wait for the FT-86, FR-86, FS-86, FT-S, whatever the heck they plan on calling it. New reports as recent as last month have the FT-86 under the Scion bran name, no word from Toyota albeit no word from them yet. The recent FT-86 II is suppose to be close to production style, but I see a $20K-25K price range on it. If it makes the Scion stable it'll be their most expensive car. I myself own an 05 tC, great car with a lot of potential but I hope to be able to buy the FT-86, or whatever it's gonna be called, sometime. Should be around in Europe by the end of the ear I believe with the North American market getting it next year.
