If the seats are leather then I would advise against it. If the seats are fabric then I would do it myself and save the few hundred the dealer would charge. A can of Scotch Guard at your local hardware store costs around $7.00, that's a far cry for the few hundred the dealer is going to charge and it's pretty much the same thing. Don't let the dealer tell you that their stuff is better....it really isn't. It's an add on feature that jacks the price of the car up....95% profit on stuff like that, just like:
-Nitrogen in the tires
-Pin stripping
-Extended warranties
