my 2000 celica looses oil like crazy?

Default my 2000 celica looses oil like crazy?
My celica eats oils like the cookie monster eats cookies. I lost a quart in like 200 miles. It is under a limited warranty from the dealer. Will it be covered?it doesn't smoke or leak oil.















I agree. Never buy a Toyota.I'm a subie guy and I didn't want this car in the first place. Im hopefully trading for a jeep

Your fault for buying a Toyota! Everyone knows Celicas suck. Other than that, not much I can say for you. Just buy a better car next time.

Take it to the dealer and they will fix it for free, leave a white piece of paper overnight under the engine, and look for drops, If there are none, your car is not suffering of a leak, it might be loosing oil to the colling system (really odd but possible) Checj your water for oil.

I no you said its not leaking oil but just to be sure you should open the rocket cover at the top of the head and use sealer to stop leaking in future but other than that id say go to the dealer you got it from

It's not Toyota's fault that you never maintained your car properly- or whoever had the car before you got it. Go to the dealer and take advantage of your warranty. You probably only have a leaking valve cover gasket or oil pan gasket from offroading the car. Even a loose oil filter can cause a lot of oil to be lost. Your car is only 11 years old. My 98 Corolla never uses oil. I had to replace the water pump at 105,000 miles- that was easy.































Subarus have always suffered oil leaks from their valve covers. Their steering racks are also troublesome, but you love them- warts and all. Different cars for "different" people is what they say.































Go get your Jeep and enjoy it.
