Toyota Altezza in us?

Default Toyota Altezza in us?
just getting in to cars as ill be buying one soon (last one i had my parents bought me and i was wondering about the toyota altezza, as i understand it came to the us under the name of the lexus IS and i was wondering since there were two versions of the altezza what is the second version and is the IS the higher or lower class model and also just tell me if im wrong about this whole thing















also if im right is the IS exactly the same as the Altezza

The IS Lexus is the same car and depending on the year you are looking at, will carry a few engine options. I think now there is an IS 250(2.5 liter engine) and a 350(3.5 liter). They have a special edition racing edition too, the ISF. They are not cheap(start around 30k new) and not cheap to insure especially if you are young.
