Default I was thinking about swapping some leather lexus seats into my 1986 toyota pickup?
I have the original toyota seats in my 1986 toyota pick up and well to be honest they are not the most beautiful things to look at and they are rather itchy on the legs and i have had the idea of swapping newer seats into it. i was thinking lexus hoping that maybe the bolt patterns would be the same or similar.... but i was just curious if any one out there has any knowledge of doing such a thing like seat that might go on to the rails or maybe a company that makes things for this application. lol the whole point of this is to avoid having custom fabbed seats made i would imagine that would be quite spendy but any information on "seat swapping" would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time.

consider seat covers. but if you are stuck on the swap you could get the best info from a local body shop or scrap yard. unfortunately toyota or lexus wont help you in this matter.

Even if you found something to fit correctly, you have to consider cost...































A set of good, clean Lexus seats are gonna be crazy expensive.

there will be fabbing!















but it's not as bad as you think. you have lots o room. each one will be different.















but using a car seat in a truck, likely you'll have to fab on a 1x1 box stock as a spacer to raise the seat height for a truck.















this is all experimentation. trial and error. may have to do some welding. if you're lucky, drilling and bolts may work.































you'll be extremely lucky to find someone who has done this exact swap.
