Is the clutch slave possibly bad in 1989 Toyota Truck?

Default Is the clutch slave possibly bad in 1989 Toyota Truck?
I just recently bought a 1989 Toyota Truck. When stopped for more than 20-30 seconds the clutch seems to slip. The truck tries to go even with the clutch all the way down. Once it is going it is fine. It shifts easily with the clutch while driving. Could it be the slave cylinder?

its hard to say, it could be the clutch too, you need to take it to a mechanic, and have it checked out, have you looked under the hood to see if the clutch master cylinder is low? It uses brake fluid, refer to the owners manual, or ask at the auto parts store whats best.

if it doesn't slip when the clutch is released, it's not the clutch.
