first, don't even consider timing it. if you haven't loosened or turned the distributor, the timing hasn't changed.
spark should be checked, plug out, boot on plug, plug ground to block and start. still no spark?
you changed the ignitor so all that's left is the coil. if it *is* just a no spark condition....

no, all plug wires wont go bad all at once. but old wires will take out a coil if the resistance is great enough. that's way the cap and wires come as one unit. and a full tune up is a must when trouble shooting ignition issues. gotta have a good base to start with.
with the distributor cap off and out of the way, crank the motor. if the rotor turns, the belt is at least still on there. if the no spark condition is present with the rotor turning, the t-belt can be safely eliminated as suspect.
