Default toyota Camry rmp question?
when the car is warm up in i going around 40 to 45 mph when i let go the gas pedal the rmp drop to 800 then it pick up to normal like 1200 rmp where it should be at 45 mph,u can also feel something kicking in when this happen any suggest?































1998 Toyota Camry V6 with 145k,miles































when the engine is cold the car run normal, another thing on the first start the car start up at a high idle like 2000 rmp in slowly bring it self back to normal

It is RPM=revolutions per minute. first check to make sure your transmission fluid is topped up - that could cause your rpm drop on decel. second - you might have a sticky or worn out idle control valve. the 2000 rpm cold start sounds a little high. Clean or replace the idle air control valve if needed. .
