All the 4 shock absorbers of my car is busted & leaking oil FROM the shock absorber, is it an immediate need to replace it?















my car is a 2005 Toyota 4runner V8 4WD. Do i need to have them replaced immediately? Or i can still use it for a couple of months ? I DON'T FEEL ANY "EXTRA BUMPS" THOUGH OR ANYTHING UNUSUAL WHEN DRIVING THE CAR.

thats youyr call but it will affect the handling in a wreck situation --i personally wouldnt put my kids in it --shocks are cheap comparitavly -to what can happen --would you drive it with steel belts showing through the tires?

If your shocks busted does that mean they are literally in two pieces? If so go directly to a shop and have them replaced. Now if they are just dirty try this. Stand at the front of your vehicle and push down very hard on the bumper then let go. If your vehicle bounces or does anything other than go down and then come up smoothly once, replace them. Do the same to the rear of the vehicle.
