why does my 1994 toyota camry die? The speedometer fluctuates and then the car dies?

i dont know why it does this. i have done a tune up, replaced fuel filter, and replaced the crankshaft position sensor. the car runs good for a day or two and then it messes up. i know the car will give me problems when i start the car and the speedometer is all funny. when i start the car, the speedometer shows 20mph without the car moving. then, when i do start driving it moves or it gets stuck between 10 and 20 mph and wont move no matter how fast im going. when i accelerate, the car makes a humming noise. then the car just dies. when i try to start it up, it chokes a little bit and if i press on the gas pedal, the car may or may not start up.

i really need some help on this so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Most likely the computer is malfunctioning.

Sounds like bad power. Computers are GIGO (garbage in garbage out). Poor connections especially at the battery and all grounds wreak havoc on all vehicles. Poor connections on the positive side do too such as a corroded or loose fuse or a bad ignition switch. You need to go over and clean every ground connection on the battery, engine, chassis (frame) and body using a wire brush and dielectric grease. Also pull inspect and reinsert or replace as needed every ignition and gauge related fuse both inside and under the hood.
