Toyota, and most major automakers in the world, have plants in nearly every continent. So the answer would be that Toyota, just like Ford, Nissan, GM and so on, has manufacturing plants not only in Japan and United States, but also in other countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. Car companies build their cars as close to their customers as possible to reduce costs. As a matter of fact, Toyota recently opened a plant in Russia to build the Camry for the Russian market.
