It idles around 6to700 rpms which is low it takes off kinda sluggish and around 60 70 mph when maintaining a constant speed it jerks and when I get on it black smoke comes out the tailpipe can anyone help me with it could be also no check engine light or any other light is on

Sounds like an injector problem. Could be a tuning problem. Black smoke means that the engine is running too rich, too much fuel to air ratio.

The first thing I would do is change the spark plugs. Toyotas use those special Iridium spark plugs and if they are worn out or fouled, it will cause your car to be very sluggish. Then stick some fuel injector cleaner in the tank. Black smoke is fuel, white smoke is oil. Black smoke means you are not burning the gas properly which again leads me to believe you have a spark problem. Distributor should also be checked/replaced.

you have carbon build up. 9 times outta 10 it's due to a lack of a tune up over time.















either way, u gotta start with a good base line b4 u can really see if there are any actual issue(s) here.















need to do a *FULL* tune up. complete tuneup. oil, air & oil filters, plugs, cap/wires, and rotor.















then u gotta get all that carbon outta there.















do a seafoam treatment. they have DIYs,

use it to clean your IAC/MAPorMAF, air box and ducting, and your one o2 sensor(just forward of the cat).















then use this to clean your fuel system and injectors,

you should actually pull those injectors and clean 'em. but don't forget to replace the o-rings.















then see what issues you have.















700 @ idle is about right. maybe 750-800 with an auto trans.
