I think younger people are more open to buying a foreign model and the Japanese brands, especially Toyota have good reputations. Where I live, the American cars are still on top but that's mostly because some of the older folks won't buy a foreign car and then some of the younger people like me just have some loyalty to some American brand that got passed down to them. I'm a Chevy trucks guy, just feel most comfortable with them cuz I know how they work best. I work on a used car lot, the Toyota Tundras defiitely are a big seller with younger guys but so are the Silverados, Sierras and F150's. Rams too but they don't have as good of a rep
