How many miles can you go before you need to change the brakes for a Toyota Camry?

It could be 200,000 miles or it could be 10,000. It depends on how often and how hard you use the brakes. On average about 60,000.

The answer to this question is open ended, and will depend entirely on the driver and his or her habits. There is no set limit, for any car.















The front pads usually go first and, again, depending on the driver, may last 30K miles or longer, and may be in need or replacement sooner.















Another thing that can affect brakes and rotors, is to make sure the wheel lugs are torqued to the correct spec's, as to tight can warp rotors and screw up pads and calipers.

It really DOES depend on the driver.........































fast driver who always brakes at the last possible moment......12-15K miles































slower driver who never speeds and starts slowing down well in advance of a red light.......50-80K miles































I just sold my '02 Tundra with 120,000 miles on it. The front pads were changed ONCE at 80K, and the rear brakes were original and still good.































my friend with an IDENTICAL '02 Tundra has changed HIS brakes multiple times and he has a lot less miles on it.

Depends if you ease on the brake or if you stomp on your brake















Brake pads can last 10 years or 6 months depending how you drive.
