Default what is TRC in a toyota avensus car?
its a 2007 model. my father in law has this car and doesnt know what the TRC button is. im clueless when it comes to cars so please explain quite clearly with non complicated words! (as i have to translate it to greek aswell as my father in law is cypriot)

It's Toyota's Traction Control.































When active, it prevents the wheels from spinning by reducing torque if it detects a wheel is losing traction. It also reduces braking force if it feels the tyre is slipping on the road surface. Perfectly safe to leave active all the time.































Edit: Perhaps I should add that it's ON when the light is OFF. The light is a wanring light telling you it's been deselected, so make sure he drives with no light on the switch.

I believe this is the traction control button. Basically a second independent braking system that will pulse the brake on a specific wheel that is spinning faster than the rest. Reducing the speed to match speed on the other wheels. The button will turn this feature on/off. I typically turn off the traction control to preserve my brake pads.
