Default Should I get a Toyota Highlander or a 4runner?
I'm about to get my first vehicle, and I was just wondering which one should I get in terms of style (design and image), performance and overall. The word i'm searching for is kind of hard to grasp at this moment, but the closest would be I guess "cool" and has nice quality.. Yeah sorry I can't explain it well. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. For me, my first car is important that's why

Highlander. Looks better and better on gas.

Highlander is classier and 4runner is manlier. If I were you, I'll get the 4runner because I like cars that can go everywhere. 4runner might be better if you like outdoor activities like going for offroading or camping trips. Highlander is more for businessmen.

Well it all depends what year Highlander your going to get. The 1st gen Highlanders were basically meant as soccer mom vehicles. They really dont have any style or design and is in between the RAV4 and 4Runner. But the 2nd gen highlanders 2008 and up are awesome they got that sleek look to them and if you get the limited model you get the rims and looks sporty. The 4Runners look great from the 90's to Now. There manly and they got that design and there a bit lifted then the Highlander. If I were you Id go with the 4Runner its a great first vehicle for a young person and it has the the cool and nice quality youll be looking for.

4runner, hands down. Based on what you say you are looking or, I think it would be your best bet.

Only a fool would buy a 4runner or a Highlander. They are both too expensive and are both gas hogs. buy a V6 Sienna van...far nicer, far bigger, better gas mileage, and a reduction of $200.00 per year on insurance.
