resetting proportioning valve Toyota Camry 96?

Few days ago my toyota camry 96 right rear (RR) brake line (pipe) leaked and I had to replaced it, I did the bleeding for all wheels but this wheel RR did not show any fluid when I tried to bleed it.















After checking the pipe up to just close to master cylinder there I found a part (proportioning valve) that 5 brake pipe connected to it which included the RR pipe.















I removed the RR pipe from this proportioning valve and checked that from this point there was no fluid.















After calling someone they said when a brake pipe leaks, this valve shuts the fluid so the brake system function and protect the system.















Now it is still in the same state and no fluid is coming out of it.































I opened the part and it has no screw to open. it is solid block.















A friend of mine told me people fix it with high pressure air. I don't know how to do it.















Toyota is selling it for $350 which I can not afford.















Can anyone tell me is it possible to reset it? if so how ?

I found a used proportioning valve for about $10 and installed it and it is working fine.

get the yellow pages, start calling brake shops and ask how, call the local tire shops most try to help because they know if they do, you are likely to come back. Find one that will help, you may need to use a power bleeder for all I know. I never heard a proportioning valve closing one wheel due to a leak, but, what do I know, maybe the fact that it is 350 bucks is why it can shut down a leaky line too. Keep calling tire shops and find some help. good luck.
