How long does a landcruiser prado 120 series DT4 diesel engine last?

Default How long does a landcruiser prado 120 series DT4 diesel engine last?
propsective purchase - The car has full service history, just over 120 thousand kls on the clock. Car will be looked after properly, no skipping services etc. The car is mint according to an independant car inspection report done yesterday.































So will it last up to 600 thousand kilometres or more and drive nicely still? or will I have issues alot earlier even if serviced properly?

I was told by the car yard dealer that they can last up to 7-900 thousand kls if looked after properly - is this true or is the dealer having a laugh on me - an unsuspecting female who knows not much about engines?

120,000 kilometers on the clock, Diesel, mint condition, independant car inspection. BUY IT BEFORE I DO.































Look after it, service it on time, don't thrash it and you will be looking at a life expectancy of 600,000 k's PLUS.































You will replace alternators, water pumps, maybe a few gaskets, but the major engine components themselves will last a life time with correct Maintenance and servicing.































Go for it.
