Default Toyota Tacoma 98 running hot..?
no leaks new thermostat new coolant temp sender.. still runnig hot.. No oil in coolant.. help!!

ok things to check...































proper mix of anti-freeze to water??.....in correctly mixed can cause temp to be off as much as 30°































fan working correctly??.....fan clutch bad??...electric fan coming on when its supposed to??































thermostat correctly installed??...needs to have bypass hole correctly clocked....not doing so will cause over heating...































water pump working correctly??....if its bad or going bad can cause overheating....































head gasket broke??.....oil and water don't necessarily leak into each other.....especially if its a "small" leak....































radiator dirty?? or clogged??.....are the fins straight?? is the fan shroud in place and drawing air correctly??































are hoses good?? most radiator hoses fail INTERNALLY....meaning piece of rubber becomes a flap inside the hose which works just like a valve or plug....

You make sure to test new thermostat in boiling water before installing?















New thermostats can can defective and stick.















Is you fan working properly?















Does it happen while driving or when it idles at stop light?
