If your 2009 Sienna is a V6, meaning 6 cylinders...not 4....if it is a V6 then you should be able to tow up to 3,500 lbs if your van has the towing package built in to the engine for cooling, and a trailer hitch can be installed which will cost a few hundred dollars....you should also look in the owners manual index under "Towing" and it should give you a page number and tell you if your van can tow and what weight it can tow....finally, and most importantly, call your Toyota dealer and ASK HIM if you van can tow trailers etc. He will know, or can find out. Because if you tow objects that your van is not capable of towing, you risk destroying your engine...and FAST. Good luck.
