Default Some questions about my 1996 Toyota Camry?
It's a 6 cylinder. Can anyone tell me the spark plug gap size (not in metric please) and also, the type of coolit the car needs. It looks like red or orange, but I'm not sure. Well thanks (:

you're gonna have to go to an auto store to get the plugs and coolant....they'll have that information for you. just ask them when you're there. most plugs nowadays come pregapped anyways. you'll be fine.

Do you still have the owners manual, i have read it and there are answers to the sizes of the spark plugs.































But if the booklet is lost, maybe you should ask from the local dealer from your place.

The tune up specs including sparkplug gap should be a sticker under the hood just near the hood latch. Normally it is in most Jap cars. The timing should also be there unless it is worn out or remove.

If you still have the owners manual it should say the gap size.















But if for some reason it doesnt list it or you dont have the manual















you can call your parts store and they can easily look it up and















tell you. And as for the coolant theres no such thing as an orange















color coolant that must mean that the coolant has never been flushed















which is a very bad thing for your pump, thermostat and hoses.















Flush your system asap local parts store can help you with that as well

In addition to looking in the owner's manual or FSM, you could find your answer in the Internet. I found the gap to be 0.04 in.
