it will be screwed into a socket in your catalytic convertor or the exhaust pipe right before it. unplug the sensor, unscrew it. screw in the new sensor, plug in the new sensor...















it will most likely be WAY difficult to remove plan on using a can of PB BLASTER or an Alabama torque wrench(long cheater bar) or both

Just like David said except there might be two O2 sensors on your Tacoma. I just changed out the sensors on my 97 V6 4x4 Tacoma, and there was one before the catalytic converter and after. Make sure to disconnect your battery just as a precaution so your computer doesn't go whack.
