Default Key is broke off in switch of 89 Toyota Pickup.?
I have an 89 Toyota pickup with the ignition switch in the dash. Part of a key is broke off inside the switch and this limits the depth of a new key going in the ignition switch. I can start and drive the truck, but I really would like to get the broken key out of the ignition switch. I have the rubber grommet off, and the dash cover around the switch off. I cannot locate the release pin to slide the cylinder out. Help me Please?

See if you can pick it out with some skinny needle nose pliers try to wiggle it out.















If that fails try to call local lock smith and they should be able to help you out.
